Our Class of 2023 graduation ceremony held at the esteemed Opera House last weekend was an extraordinary and indelible event, brimming with uncontainable joy and profound pride. The ambiance was charged with palpable excitement and an overwhelming sense of honor. With admiration, parents and family members gazed upon their accomplished graduates, resplendent in their elegant gowns and caps, as they gracefully accepted their hard-earned diplomas, symbolizing the culmination of their remarkable educational voyage at 91勛圖厙.

We take immense pride in presenting our esteemed Class of 2023, consisting of 95 graduating seniors. With each student hailing from unique and diverse backgrounds, their journey at our institution has been as varied as their individual experiences. While some have been part of our educational community for years, others joined us more recently. However, they all share a common aspiration – to become accomplished and prosperous adults. It is worth noting that many of our graduates have set their sights on pursuing higher education at prestigious universities abroad, while others have chosen to embark on different personalized paths, following their passions and aspirations.

On April 22nd, 91勛圖厙 students and parents, together with the local community, were excited to be part of the World Earth Day Clean Up to help refreshing the environment hosted by and 91勛圖厙 Eco-Schools CAS Group.��

As a community-led organization working to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Vietnam, Re-Think Plastic Vietnam usually hosts many activities to respond to their vision. This community clean up event for a fresher environment is just one part of a series.

Always caring about the environment, both ISHCMC as well as the local community, were�� pleased and energetic to join in the Clean Day. Over 100 participants took part in the event. They helped cleaning up over 150 full bags of plastic from the environment.��

Ms. Karen is also confident with the ability to create even more positive impacts on the environment of 91勛圖厙 students.

The Class of 2023 Last Day Assembly for our beloved Grade 12 was filled with love, laughter and enjoyment from all of the 91勛圖厙 students, parents, teachers and staff.

The annual Clap Out section was indeed one of the most awaited celebrations on this day. Traveling from the Primary Campus to the Secondary Campus, Grade 12 got the chance to visit the primary campus again. Immersing in the energetic music, the whole school resounded with enthusiastic and tremendous applause coming from the students��� clap out, marking our Grade 12���s last day at 91勛圖厙.

Additionally, the memorable assembly with meaningful speeches, farewell lunch and uniform filled with signatures from schoolmates are indeed core memories that our Grade 12 students would never forget.

On one hand, Grade 12 students have successfully completed their last year of high school, and the future seems bright with endless opportunities awaiting them. On the other hand, this marks the end of the journey they have all been on together at 91勛圖厙, just as Mrs. Kim Green – The Head of School stated:

We are thrilled to announce that our Rhinos girls and boys football teams recently won a treble, SISAC D2 Champs, ASAC tournament and SISAC City finals! This historical achievement is a testament to the teams��� hard work, dedication, and passion for the game.

It was indeed a fiery season filled with victory, loss and most importantly, the greatest enthusiasm from our wonderful players! It’s not easy to win one championship, let alone three in a single season. But, our Rhinos boys and girls football teams have shown that it has what it takes to be champions. They have worked hard, practiced harder, and played with passion and determination.

Solidarity is one of the most important elements that made up our epic wins. Not only did our players play for themselves, but also played for the whole team, as well as the whole school!

The players and coaches deserve all the credit for this incredible feat. They have put in countless hours of practice and have worked tirelessly to achieve their goals. They have shown that it takes teamwork, commitment, and a never-give-up attitude to succeed.

Recently, our Grade 10 students completed their MYP Personal Project, during which they worked on meaningful projects inspired by local community needs

As an world school, ISHCMC always strives for students to take charge of their own learning and support them in building future-ready skills so they may flourish in a world that is changing quickly and make a difference. With that being said, one of the opportunities students can have at 91勛圖厙 is working on their MYP project.

Students can develop the characteristics of the IB learner profile with the MYP (Middle Years Programme) personal project. It supports their growth as independent, lifelong learners and gives them a crucial opportunity to put into practice and deepen the approaches to learning skills they have learned throughout the MYP.

The students spent almost a year creating innovative solutions to contribute to positive changes in society and then presented them to the 91勛圖厙 community. You can learn more about the project by checking out the 3 interviews with our G10 students in the clips found in this article.

Thanks to the diversity and the creativity of our Grade 10 students many interesting innovations were being presented, namely the swimming training program for children in Ho Tram by Kennedy – one 91勛圖厙 Grade 10 student. Kennedy developed her MYP Project to improve water safety among Vung Tau youngsters in response to a social need and her own passion.

The final projects of the students demonstrate the MYP’s commitment to providing students with a worthwhile learning experience by letting them follow their passions, hone their skills, and gain practical experience.

Being asked for advice for working on a year-long project, Hwan – one Grade 10 student working on his personal project of Mindful Journaling, highlighted the creativity aspect of the project and the importance of choosing a project that captures your interest:

The International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) Secondary Campus played host to the much-anticipated International Baccalaureate () Asia Pacific Conference from April 14 to April 16, 2023, amid palpable excitement. We were thrilled to welcome 220 educators, coordinators, and administrators from around the world who shared a commitment to providing their pupils with a high-quality education.

The three-day conference provided an opportunity for attendees to participate in over a dozen workshops led by expert educators who covered a range of topics, including interdisciplinary teaching, language and literature, and more. These camps are open to students aged 5 to 15 from any school in Ho Chi Minh City and will run for five weeks (25 days) with a different theme each week.

Many summer camps offered by other schools and language centers can be very basic and generic, simply using generic study materials that are often outdated and not engaging for children. While these camps may provide some basic English language skills, they lack the personalized and student-centered approach that is essential for students to truly excel.

At Inspire Educamps, we believe that mindset is at the heart of everything we do. Our summer camps are designed to be engaging, interactive, and relevant to the needs of our students.
